Pole Widzenia
Mixed media festival 22.08. - 23.08.2008
The idea of 'Pole Widzenia' festival is to present moving images: animation and video art in the context of historical stucture of the City of Torun, its daily rhythm, day-to-day lifetime of its citizens and tourist hustle and bustle. Program of the festival is divided into several parts presented in different locations. Artistic actions will take place in 'Centrum' Cinema, on the yard of the Town Hall (4 screens: 6 x 4,5 m) and on the south side of Town Hall (1 screen: 10 x 40 m).
All animations have been made by worldwide known artists. Apart from
animations the audience will be able to see brand new movies,
audio-visual performances and Polish animation works for children.
Each day of the festival will end with large mixed media concert, where
live music will be merged with moving images.
There is free entrance for all events connected with 'Pole Widzenia'
